It seems that we hear a lot about the importance of planning, especially about strategic planning. When an organization makes the decision to invest in a mega expansion project, there is clearly an incredible amount of careful decision making that must take place to ensure its ultimate success. By Heather Punke The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has issued a proposed rule to improve the tracking of workplace injuries and illnesses. The proposed rule would amend OSHA's current recordkeeping regulations and would require electronic submission of injury and illness information. Establishments with more than 250 employees are already required to keep injury and illness records, and the proposed rule would required them to electronically submit the information to OSHA every quarter.
