The mechanical pulping industry must deal with many challenges to stay competitive in today’s market place. Many of these challenges include minimizing energy consumption, maintaining consistent operations and uniform pulp quality, and managing assets, while at the same time maximizing equipment up-time. The industry also faces pressure to produce higher quality products that are still cost-effective and competitively priced. To meet these demands, the industry must look towards developing better processes and new technologies.

On September 26-28, industry leaders will meet in Jacksonville, Fla., USA, for the International Mechanical Pulping Conference (IMPC) to discuss several emerging and breakthrough technologies.  Experts will share their latest discoveries with a focus on global production, new applications, energy efficiency, and product quality.

Learn about pioneering technologies and make global connections at IMPC!

Industry professionals will have the opportunity to participate in a three-day technical conference where they will learn about innovative technologies in key areas, such as:
  • Optimization
  • Bleaching
  • Alternative Mechanical Pulp Uses
  • Pretreatments
  • HL/LC Refining
  • Process
  • Mill Optimization
  • Evaluation Tools
  • Industry Initiatives for Energy Reduction.
IMPC is co-located with TAPPI’s PEERS Conference and TAPPI’s International Bioenergy and Bioproducts Conference (IBBC).
