Today, NPMA kicked-off its 2021 Executive Leadership Forum in Key Largo, Florida, bringing together the top leaders in the structural pest management industry for the first face-to-face gathering in over a year to plan for the year ahead. The Forum began with a moderated P3 session and discussion focusing on industry hot topics including workforce development, diversity and inclusion, and sustainability. Additionally, the NPMA Workforce Development Steering Committee held their first in-person meeting this afternoon to continue generating momentum for attracting candidates to seek careers in the pest management industry. We look forward to more collaboration and camaraderie throughout the rest of the conference.

NPMA’s Pestology blog was created with the pest management professional in mind. The pest control industry is driven by science, but often the newest scientific discoveries are not easily digestible and not communicated to the end user (you!). With that in mind, NPMA’s three PhD entomologists on staff set off to read the latest pest management scientific articles and translate them into plain English for the non-scientist. Find not only the latest research, but a few pest control tips along the way in condensed articles.
