From now through October 31, NENA is accepting session proposals for the NENA 2025 Conference & Expo taking place at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, CA from June 21-26.
Presenting a session at NENA 2025 allows you to share your knowledge and experience with an audience of 9-1-1 professionals eager to gain and share information. It is also your chance to give back to the profession and help inspire, inform, and educate attendees on important issues.

NENA's NG9-1-1 Industry Collaboration Events (ICE) bring together vendors in an open, supportive, collaborative environment. At ICE, vendors build interoperability test cases and test their products (production or prototype) against each other’s products using test case document(s) based on existing and evolving standards.
At the upcoming ICE, taking place October 21-25 in Wheaton, IL, testing scenarios will fall into two standards categories: End-to-End PSAP and Cybersecurity. Connecting with those working groups within NENA who are working on the standards related to these areas, a series of tests have been developed for the event.
NENA invites all interested vendors that provide an NG9-1-1 product or service to participate. Originating Service Providers, NGCS vendors, Forest Guide developers, Call Handling, Incident Handling, Logging Records, Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) providers, etc. should consider participating in this event. Participation in the event requires a functional element to test, attendance at planning meetings, and pre-event testing.

If you wish to take additional steps in support of NG9-1-1 this election season, then consider asking your local, state, and federal elected officials to take a formal position on NG9-1-1 funding. However, always ensure that doing so conforms to your department's chain of command or written policies and procedures.

The Security Audit Checklist WG will update the current audit checklist to meet the requirements specified in the anticipated NENA Security for Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG-SEC) Standard. Additionally, the group will explore integrating a cross reference guide to other security standards common to PSAPs.
The working group seeks operational and technical subject matter experts. Ideally work group membership will include:
