"This is a really exciting time to be involved in fleet. Everything is changing so quickly. I’ve been involved with NAFA for 25 years, and I don’t recall a time when the industry saw the types of changes we’re talking about today...In just a few years, a 'Ride and Drive' event may be just a 'ride' event as autonomous vehicles gain more and more use and acceptance. Autonomous vehicles are just one part of the evolution from you being 'fleet managers' to becoming 'mobility managers.'"

Autonomous vehicle technology is advancing rapidly, and consumers and regulators are having difficulty keeping up with the pace of change. From an economic standpoint, Canada continues to seek a regulatory regime that enables the technology to continue to develop, without fundamentally altering Canada’s roadways in the short- to medium term.
