The CHRP Validation of Professional Experience Assessment is a formal step in earning the CHRP designation that requires candidates to demonstrate three or more years of professional experience in Human Resources within the last ten years. 

To gain your CHRP designation through the assessment experience, CHRP candidates will be required to submit a completed application.  This application will need to be validated by your current employer.  In order to be eligible to submit an application you need to be a Candidate (someone who has passed the NKE) and have had your proof of degree verified.  

The next submission deadline is May 15.

The SAHRP 9th Annual Conference is taking place on October 6-7, 2015 in Saskatoon, SK.

It ensures protection of the public interest by ensuring both the professional competence and ethical conduct of registered HR professionals. A self-regulating professional human resources association takes a pro-active approach in securing the success of our organizations and our people. The future of a successful Saskatchewan hinges on the success of its people.

The WCB has been asked by the Government of Manitoba to seek community feedback on amending the Workers Compensation Act to provide presumptive coverage of PTSD. The WCB welcomes your input regarding the issues and questions posed in the Consultation Paper. This input will form the basis of a report that the WCB will provide to the Government of Manitoba at the conclusion of consultations in early May 2015.

The Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba (WCB) is now accepting applications for funding under the Research and Workplace Innovation Program for projects and knowledge transfer related to prevention of occupational injuries, diseases and return to work of injured or ill workers. A total of $1 million is available to fund qualified projects. 

RWIP projects are funded under three (3) streams:

  • Workplace Innovation 
  • Scientific Research 
  • Training and Education
