Last week, the West Virginia Tree Farm Committee not only held its regular quarterly meeting, but conducted a strategy session to discern the following objectives, with the assistance of representatives from the national office of the American Tree Farm System:

* Define what success might look like for the West Virginia Tree Farm Program.

* Clarification of what the West Virginia Tree Farm Program needs to focus on in the next one to three years to be successful.

* Develop a list of suggested strategies to help the Tree Farm Committee achieve that success.

* For each Committee member to personally commit to becoming involved in a project that addresses one of the goals established at the retreat.
