President and CEO Tim Urquhart is pleased to announce the appointment of Barb Hopper to the position of Chief Strategy Officer and Acting CFO, a key member of the Executive team who will be instrumental in shaping the future of Canada’s leading buying group and support solution for entrepreneurs.
As an accomplished business leader with a broad functional background and strong strategic focus, Barb has worked with large public companies and entrepreneurial organizations to increase organizational value through people, process and technology. She has completed and participated in mergers and acquisitions, integrations, financing, restructuring, new technology implementations and developed and executed growth strategies.
Ms. Hopper’s experience spans retail, manufacturing, distribution and banking, and includes international postings as well. A Chartered Accountant and Master of Business Administration, Barb has adopted the personal business mission "to work with all stakeholders to drive the business forward—together!"
