The Sexton Group has added over 50 new dealer locations in the past several years as well as many new hardlines and building materials suppliers. In order to maintain and enhance our positive working rapport with our 280 member locations, and manage increasingly complex vendor relationships, we are pleased to make the following announcements.

Dave Leonzio has recently joined the Sexton Group as Business Development Manager for the Prairies. In this role, Dave is responsible for working with Sexton members in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario. Dave joins us from TruServ where he was responsible for business development over the past seven years. Dave’s experience in hardlines will be very useful as we continue to expand our offering of industry beating, direct-from-manufacturer, hardlines purchase programs.

Norm Bougie will be relocating to Winnipeg and effective July 1st will take on the role of Marketing Manager. Norm has had several years’ experience leading our efforts in Eastern Canada and a number of year’s prior history in the construction materials industry. This appointment will enable the Sexton Group to work closely with our expanding supplier base to ensure Sexton members remain competitive in their local markets.

Phil Brown has recently joined the Sexton Group as Business Development Manager for Eastern Canada. Phil has senior leadership experience in the construction materials and hardlines industry. Most recently Phil was responsible for the start-up and successful market introduction of Prime Source, North America’s largest supplier of construction fasteners, to the Canadian market. The addition of Phil to our team, positions the Sexton Group well for continued expansion in Eastern Canada.

The Sexton Group remains true to its mission of negotiating industry leading product supply programs and delivering them to our members cost effectively, day-in-day out. With a total staff of 12 strong and experienced people, the Sexton Group continues be, by far, the most efficient and focused buying group in Canada.
