Eric Konecsni inducted into Home Hardware Stores Limited Builders’ Circle

Eric Konecsni, Vice-President, Operations retired on December 31, 2014 after 46 years of service; 32 years with Beaver Lumber and the last 14 years as Vice-President, Operations with Home Hardware Stores Limited. He joined the Home Hardware team in August 1999 with the acquisition of Beaver Lumber. Overseeing the transition of 138 Beaver Lumber stores, he went on to oversee almost 1100 stores under Home’s four banners, as well as the Directors of Retail Operations, Real Estate and Construction, Dealer Development and Dealer Support Services.

In recognition of his induction into the Builders’ Circle, Eric received a special, handcrafted gold pin. His name will also be engraved in the Home Hardware Stores Limited Builders’ Circle granite monument located in the Tribute Garden at the Walter J Hachborn Complex in St. Jacobs. He joins fellow 2015 inductees, Jim Schaefer, Sr. of Bradford, Ontario and Brigitte Michel of Sudbury, Ontario who were honoured on their retirement from the Board of Directors at the Annual Shareholders’ meeting this spring.
