AFA Forest Products Inc. says goodbye to a dear friend

"It is with great sorrow and regret that we announce the passing of our dear friend Alan C. Jack.  As a founding partner, President and CEO of AFA Forest Products inc., Al was an industry leader, an icon and a legend.  For more than 40 years there was never a challenge that Al would not face head on.  His recent battle with his health was no different but eventually he succumbed to his ailments.  Right up to the end Al continued to work, ensuring that AFA was well positioned to carry on his legacy." 

This is a great loss not only for our company but for the Industry.  Our thoughts and prayers are with Al's family during this difficult time.  We extend our condolences and strongest support to Al's daughters and his extended family.

Grant Yegavian, the CFO of the company will assume the role of CEO.  Murray Finkbiner will assume the role of President.
