NEW NRHA Tips - Get Creative When Planning Your Outdoor Living Displays

The display can be as simple as a few lawn chairs and a barbecue, or as elaborate as a vignette that includes an outdoor refrigerator, sinks, oven, throw rugs, TVs, couches and lampshades. Use your imagination to see how creative you can make your model outdoor room so it will be a conversation piece for customers.

In addition to the basics like grilles and furniture, here are ideas for what to include in your outdoor room:
• Materials for building a deck or patio;
• Shelters, such as gazebos, umbrellas, awnings;
• Elements that include water—fountains, waterfalls and pools;
• Furniture, including couches, chairs, dining tables, end tables, chaise lounges and hammocks;
• Cooking appliances such as grilles, ovens, food preparation areas, sinks, refrigerators, cocktail bars;
• Hearth products like fireplaces, firepits and chimineas;
• Pest control products like citronella candles and bug repellants;
• Décor accessories such as artwork, fences, sound systems and televisions.
