Ply Gem Adds New Colour Options to Meet Today’s Home Exterior Design Trends

Ply Gem announced the addition of two new colours – Indigo and Nickel – to its industry-best Mitten vinyl siding colour palette. As an exterior building product colour leader in Canada, the new hues add distinctive, on-trend gray and blue-gray selections to Mitten’s already extensive lineup of more than 35 classic, natural and bold selections.

"At Ply Gem, we are invested in research and development of the latest colour technologies and are continuously soliciting feedback from professional builders and contractors on what their customers desire," said John Vukanovich, vice president, marketing – Canada, Ply Gem Building Products. "Gray and blue-gray tones are very in-demand for both interiors and exteriors because of their bold, yet classic home styling. Combined with the low maintenance and durability characteristics of Mitten vinyl siding, professionals and homeowners alike can rest assured they are making a great curb appeal choice that will last a lifetime."

The new colours are available in a wide range of profiles within the Sentry, Highland, and Oregon Pride product lines. Like all products in the Mitten portfolio, aluminum accessories, blocks and vents can be easily colour-matched to coordinate with the new Indigo and Nickel siding colours.

All colours within the Mitten colour palette are certified by the Vinyl Siding Institute (VSI). Homeowners and professionals can log onto www.mittensiding.com to experiment with the new Indigo and Nickel vinyl siding colours through the enVISION it home visualizer tool.

Mitten siding products are available through Mitten distribution centres and home improvement retailers nationwide.
