Orgill Names New District Manager for Western Canada

Orgill, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Colin Carey, who previously served as an Orgill sales representative in northern Alberta and Saskatchewan, to the position of District Manager for Western Canada. 

 

In his new position, Colin will be supporting Orgill’s customers throughout British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. 

 

"Colin is well known throughout the industry, has spent almost two decades in management, and is passionate about helping retailers find ways to take their operations to the next level," says Erik Schlaud, Orgill’s Vice President of Dealer Sales - Canada. "We are pleased to have Colin taking on this new position and feel that this move represents our continued commitment to providing retailers with the services and support they need to run a thriving operation."

Last year, Colin was recognized by the company for his service to his customers and community during the 2016 wildfires that tore through Fort McMurray, Alberta.  As a volunteer fight fighter, Colin used his vacation time to head to the area and help fight the fires. 

 

"The community needed help," Colin says. "When you see a wall of fire coming at a city, you respond- because people just need help." 

 

Colin applies this same helpful spirit to working with retailers. "I like the philosophy Orgill has of doing whatever they can to help the customer be successful," he says. "It’s a privilege to be part of a team focused on that mission."
