Investing in the Future of PayTech

I am excited to announce a new Wnet program that will prepare you to lead with ease, perform at your peak, influence those around you and positively affect your organization. As co-chair with Tom Wimsett, Chairman & Managing Partner, Merchant's PACT, we have developed the PayTech Women Executive Academy with expert executive coaches and trained facilitators to propel you to succeed, be effective communicators and thought leaders, and deliver well-received messages that will empower others.

In this high-impact approach to developing influential women leaders, you can be part of in-depth learning, practical integration and coaching done in a cohort-style format, developing a deep bond as you learn and grow together.

We want to share more about this exclusive opportunity for emerging and senior leaders on June 21 in an introductory webinar: Elevate Your Career: How To Intentionally Build Relationship Capital. You’ll meet the world class facilitators of the Executive Academy, Julie Holunga, Founder, Women's Catalyst Network and Chinook Executive Solutions, and Stephanie Polen, Founder, Unshakeable Women, explore the relational health of your network and develop a plan to strengthen and improve it. Plus, you will learn more about this unique, special cohort.

I hope you attend the webinar with me to determine if this is a path for your career journey.

Wnet North Texas Chapter Wrap-Up:
D&I – The Hot Topic Words People Want to Implement and Live at Work

By North Texas Chapter Co-Chair Maribel Davis, Vice President of Sales, NEXGO, Inc.

WNET North Texas Chapter’s hybrid event last month was generously hosted by SignaPay at their headquarters in Irving, Texas. The well-attended LinkUp featured a conversation about diversity with Talent Advisor, Coach and Author Elizabeth Lions, President, Lionsology.

Elizabeth never disappoints, and this talk was no different. She walked us through common diversity terms that made us all think more broadly. Attendees from a variety of payments organizations reflected on how each of us could make a difference as individuals working at large companies and how to make the concept of diversity and inclusion a reality.

“Watching Elizabeth Lions speak about diversity and inclusion was truly inspiring,” said Kim Mejia, Product Management, NCR. “It’s hard to approach those uncomfortable conversations in the workplace, but having them broken down differently was empowering. You could feel Elizabeth’s passion in the room for giving different perspectives and thought-provoking vantage points. What a powerful speech!”

NEW FROM WNET!

PayTech Women Executive Academy

Control Your Career with New PayTech Women Executive Academy

Kara has a successful career she is proud of. She had been promoted, and had built good relationships in her organization. And yet, she felt like she was still missing something. At times, she heard that critical voice in her head telling her she didn’t deserve the praise or promotion. At times, she doubted herself and the extent of her knowledge, which held her back from speaking up in meetings.

We have all had moments of self doubt, feeling in over our heads, or not knowing how to approach a challenge or difficult person. Many of us understand exactly where Kara is coming from. The good news is that we don’t have to just accept it. We can take the reins on our careers and make a change. We can take command.

Kara wanted to make a change. She wanted to take the reins. Kara took advantage of the opportunity her organization offered, the Women’s Executive Academy. She initially was concerned whether she had the time for this program and community. How could she invest the time, money, and focus? Why would her company invest in her? The thoughts and doubts raced through her mind.

Following several conversations with her mentor, Kara submitted her application for the Academy. And was accepted. This was a pivotal moment in her career. By the conclusion of the program, Kara felt lighter. Her confidence was consistently at a higher level. Her stress levels were lower. Most importantly, that critical voice in her head was much quieter.

Register for upcoming June 21 webinar, Elevate Your Career: How To Intentionally Build Relationship Capital, featuring the facilitators of the Academy, Julie Holunga and Stephanie Polen. This event, free for Wnet Members, will offer an overview of the Academy in addition to providing strategies to use your community to build your career.
