The 2024 Spring Conference continued the tradition of success at the Hampton Roads Convention Center this year with over 800 transportation industry attendees. With speakers covering transportation issues across the Federal, state and local spectrum, attendees were given insight into Virginia’s growing transportation program.

Opening keynote speaker Coach Donnie Campbell (the real-life inspiration for the Ted Lasso character) focused on qualities that not only make a great coach but a great leader.

Attendees enjoyed a very open and extensive "Roadside Chat" with host Ed Stelter, Host of FOUNDATIONS Podcast; Dave Bauer, President & CEO of American Road & Transportation Builders Association; Stephen Brich, PE, Commissioner of Highways, VDOT; Ryan Gorman, PE, Regional Vice President of Kokosing Construction; Rick James, PE, President of Adams Construction Company; Mo Kim, PE, President of Rinker Design Associates, P.C.; Mimi Kronisch, PE, CCM, Partner, RK&K; and Ed Dalrymple, Jr., President of Cedar Mountain Stone.

The weather also broke long enough for our golf tournament at Riverfront Golf Club in Suffolk, VA. Congratulations to the winners!
