  Shenandoah Stone - Raphine Plant

Shenandoah Stone, located in Raphine, VA has been a member since VTCA was created by the 2005 merger of the Virginia Aggregates Association and the Virginia Roadbuilders Association. Prior to VTCA, Shenandoah Stone was a member of the VA Aggregates Association.

Shenandoah Stone is truly a family business. All aspects of the operation are conducted by the Johnstons: Abner and his wife Clara, and their son William. Since the Johnstons represent the full workforce of Shenandoah Stone, they were unable to attend the VTCA Annual Meeting to receive their Safety Achievement award from VA Energy and VTCA for No Lost Time Accidents in 2021 in the 0-5,000 hours category.

In September VTCA visited Shenandoah Stone and presented the Johnstons with the certificate.

Please join VTCA and VA Energy in congratulating Shenandoah Stone on this great achievement!
