Hopefully, by the time that you are reading this, the fall temperatures will be in full swing. The VPTA has been buzzing with activities, planning the upcoming PT Political Action event on November 8th and the Fall Summit on November 9th. I hope you have been seeing the email blasts introducing the great speaker/educational lineup. We look forward to selling out the events, and we want to thank you in advance for your participation.
 
 
 
 

 

The Communications Committee wants to share with the rest of the VPTA what YOU are up to, via our social media outlets! Please send content which includes but is not limited to: photos/videos of interesting meetings/events at your clinic (or in your community if PT related!), member highlights (exceptional contributions, new members, new roles, professional recognitions, etc!), involvement in philanthropy events, research contributions, etc! WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU!

The VCU physical therapy students grabbed the top spot in this year’s Marquette Challenge by raising $34,327 for physical therapy research. Winning the challenge results in co-hosting the event for the coming year.
