"I am delighted by the participation, attendee engagement and success of our 12th annual National Conference," said Jerald Tillman, NAAIA founder. "We are staying true to our mission, and I am both energized by and honored to work with the talented members of our new national board."

NAAIA is a professional association within the insurance industry whose predominantly African-American membership represents leadership and staff roles from insurance agency and broker organizations and insurance companies. Its strategic goals are to attract, develop, and retain talented African-Americans to support the growth and profitability of the multi-trillion dollar U.S. insurance industry; promote the diverse private and public sector employment opportunities available in this industry that employs more than 2 million people; champion the marketplace value, contributions, and growth of minority-owned insurance agents and brokers; and facilitate the greater access to and education of multi-cultural industry consumers with predominant emphasis on African Americans.

"NAAIA will continue to build upon its success by acting as a valuable resource," says Don Davis, chairman, NAAIA National Board of Directors. "As we move forward, our strategic goals will be realized through collaboration with our members, local chapters, corporate members, sponsors and communities."
