The IIAV Newsletter Has a New Look!

Take a look at the IIAV newsletter’s new look. I believe you’ll be impressed.

Many progressive associations are changing their print newsletters to respond to reading habits of professionals who receive news electronically. Being able to quickly assess contents and access links for more detailed information saves you time.

As you will see, IIAV’s e-newsletter provides headlines to help to quickly identify information – whether it’s a new law or regulation or upcoming continuing education opportunities. You should be able to scan the headlines and select items of most interest for review. Also, you can cut and paste articles – with the links provided – if there’s information to share with staff or clients.

I’ve been looking at electronic newsletters for quite some time. The Virginia Chamber of Commerce has an outstanding e-newsletter. I’ve also seen some very poor e-newsletters and wonder how members find them of any benefit. I’m sure I’m not the exception when I say it takes considerable time each day to delete unwanted e-mails, making my available time to review news that much more valuable.

In the past, we’ve sent you a printed newsletter electronically. Now you will have a dynamic newsletter that updates you on information you need to know related to our industry, association and profession.

PLUS, you can scan for information you need or "print all" and take it with you. A button at the top of the newsletter allows printing for reading when it’s more convenient.

Let me know what you think. I think you’ll be impressed with the ease of use and the ability to quickly find information. Please thank our industry partners who are making this e-newsletter possible.

We may be more than 110 years old, but IIAV is still working to keep you up-to-date.

Sincerely,
