From now until December 31, 2010, ACSR cross-credits are available for completing select CISR Modules. After that, waivers to/from ACSR/CISR will no longer be provided. So act now if you would like to take advantage of this cost-saving opportunity.

The negotiated waivers are listed below.

  • CISR Insuring Personal Residential Property Module waives ACSR Module 1.
  • CISR Insuring Personal Auto Exposures Module waives ACSR Module 2.
  • CISR Agency Operations Module waives ACSR Module 5.
  • CISR Insuring Commercial Property Module waives ACSR Module 6.

To take advantage of the CISR into ACSR waiver, students must complete provide proof of their CISR designation to IIAV. For more information on the ACSR program visit www.iiav.com or www.independentagent.com.

The ACSR program is a nationally recognized program created by the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America, Inc and AICPCU/IIA. It provides participants with a strong insurance foundation and equips them with the skills needed to succeed in today’s agency environment. A student can earn an ACSR designation in their particular line of business or in all three – commercial, personal, or life/health – in the desired learning manner, classroom or online in the Big "I" Virtual University. Also exclusive to the ACSR program, graduates create their learning path, with waivers into the AAI designation.
