A Question of Value with David Dillon

Do you enjoy going to real estate open house events or home shows to see the latest value-adding trends in home improvement? It’s a popular pastime, based on HGTV show ratings. Even if you don’t intend to sell your home anytime soon, discovering new ideas to increase your home’s value can be fun, even lucrative later.

The same concept can apply to a business. Think like a potential buyer. What actions can you take to increase agency value? If you could buy your agency now, would you? Would you pay a premium for what you see in the agency, or would you be asking for discounts?

Action item to consider; take time to work “on” your business by identifying three significant gaps in your agency success and value story and put together an action plan to fill the gaps.
