Donald "Don" Bragg, CPCU, MBA, CIC, CPIA, Named New Director of Membership & Marketing

After over 25 years in the insurance industry, Donald Bragg, CPCU, CPD, CIC, CPIA, joins the Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia as the director of membership & marketing. Bragg comes to IIAV with experience in both personal lines and commercial lines of insurance, as well as managing agency relationships. Previously with Hanover Insurance Company, an associate member of IIAV, Bragg knows the membership of the organization and in his new role will expand that knowledge and continue to build relationships.
Bragg received the IIAV Company Person of the Year in 2011, and among other industry awards was the 2017 Company Representative of the Year for both PIA of VA/DC and National PIA.
“I am truly excited to have Don on our team. His exceptional skills, knowledge and experience will allow him to represent and assist our members well,” stated IIAV President & CEO Bob Bradshaw. “Don’s exceptional familiarization with IIAV and the industry will be of great support and assistance to those who are new to the industry and those who have greater experience.
As director of membership & marketing, Bragg will be visiting with member agencies and their staff to help outline the full range of membership benefits. In addition, he will meet with prospective members and new agencies to introduce them to the benefits of IIAV.
