Jesse Phillips of Froehling & Robertson, Inc. Appointed to the Virginia Board for Asbestos, Lead, & Home Inspectors

Governor Glenn Youngkin announced additional key administration and board appointments on January 12. Among those appointments was Jesse Phillips, Industrial Hygiene Practice Leader, Froehling & Robertson, Inc. (Roanoke District) to the Virginia Board of Asbestos, Lead, and Home Inspectors.

 

Ned Ruby (Retired) of Liphart Steel Appointed to the Board of Trustees for the Frontier Culture Museum of Richmond

Governor Glenn Youngkin announced additional key administration and board appointments on January 26. Among those appointments was Ned Ruby of Staunton, retired Vice-President and Division Manager, Liphart Steel (Richmond) to the Board of Trustees for the Frontier Culture Museum of Virginia

 

Congratulations Will Willis 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year - Chesterfield Career and Tech at Courthouse Road 

Will Willis, Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Instructor of Chesterfield Career and Tech (CTC) Courthouse Road (Richmond District) was awarded 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year. Student success is very important to Will, so he pushes students to take ownership in their education. Together they create goal setting plans and apply them toward students achieving their EPA 608 certification. 

Will’s relationships with the HVAC/R Advisors have grown to such a level that they are present in his class over the course of the entire school year. He has had at least one contractor per month in the class to teach students either about the trade or a specific lesson related to what they’re currently learning. Achieving a high level of student’s success in credentialing exams and in obtaining the full six-year HVAC Excellence Accreditation have topped off this nine year stretch at CCTC.
