Tim Griffin joined the MEB team in 2004 after graduating from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. During his time at the company, he has worked on a wide variety of projects from zoos and office buildings to highly secured satellite facilities and has led some of MEB’s most complex heavy civil projects. Aside from his leadership on the jobsite, Tim has become a go-to person across the organization.

“Over the years, Tim has proved to be a strong leader on and off our jobsites. He is reliable and well respected within our company and the industry," said David Ervin, MEB Vice President. "We are confident Tim will be successful in his new role and are excited to welcome him to the leadership team.”

Tim has served as Project Manager for some the company’s most intricate projects, notably the NOAA Upgrades at Wallops Island and the $122M VIP Nutrient Reduction Upgrades for HRSD. Most recently, as Project Executive, he led his team to complete two major upgrades in the Norfolk Naval Shipyard.

Tim is active throughout the construction industry. He is currently the AGC Tidewater District President and actively involved in DBIA and other industry organizations.

“I think our people is what makes MEB so special, the relationships I’ve developed over the years from the guys in the field to upper management is one of the things I’m most proud of," said Tim Griffin, MEB Vice President – Environmental/Civil. "I’m excited for the future of the company and the opportunity to help develop the new faces that will join the team.”

Please join MEB in congratulating him!
