ELECTION DAY IS TUESDAY, NOV. 5 & WE NEED YOU AND ALL YOUR EMPLOYEES TO VOTE
There is a significant possibility Virginia’s pro-business philosophy may change after election day.  All members of the VA House of Delegates and Senate are up for election.  If pro-business legislators are not elected, several issues detrimental to your business may change.

What 3 things MUST you do to ensure a pro-business climate remains in Virginia:
1.  Remind all your clients & employees to vote for candidates that will preserve VA’s pro-business climate.  Successful businesses matter to employees and all your clients.
2.  Vote yourself!  Polls are open from 6 AM to 7 PM.
3.  Learn more about the coalition AGCVA has helped establish to address serious business related issues

Earlier this fall, Governor Northam responded to AGCVA’s request and proclaimed October as Virginia’s Careers in Construction Month!  The following challenge was issued to the AGCVA members across the state – “How are YOU going to celebrate?”
AGCVA companies answered the call by hosting or attending events all month long to celebrate Careers in Construction.  Members supported 6 SkillsUSA construction contests at the State Fair.  We hosted Awareness Socials with Guidance Counselors and Career Coaches.  We exposed over 15,000 students to our Build Your Future campaign at Career Expos peppered across Virginia.
Thank you for celebrating with us and teaching Virginia how to Go Pro in Construction!
