Earlier this year, VAMA's Hampton Roads Events & Education Committee formed a partnership with a local nonprofit called Moms on a Mission, which provides "welcome home baskets" to those transitioning from homelessness to permanent accomodations. Over the course of May - July, over 90 member communities collected an entire box truck's worth of donations and over $7,000 for Moms on a Mission.

In 2022, the Virginia Apartment Management Association (VAMA) hired J. Turner Research to conduct a survey of compensation and benefits offered to personnel in the apartment industry. Over 45 companies throughout Virginia participated, and the results are in! All participating companies received a FREE copy of the survey, which is also available for purchase by non-participating companies.
The National Apartment Association (NAA) is seeking volunteer leaders to serve on their various committees in 2023.
