Development News
700 units along Chamberlayne Avenue in Richmond have been put up for sale by a Florida company.
The 266-unit community sold for $43 Million and the new owners plan to put an additional $13,000 into each apartment.
The development will have 18 residential apartments.
One developer associated with the Stonefield project off Hydraulic Road are asking for higher buildings and higher density.
Dubbed River's Edge II, the developer plans two 11-story towers with a sky bridge in between.
Town Council passed a construction timetable for the prominent location.  Construction could begin as early as May.
The 4.5 acres at Broad and Hamilton will house 25 apartments, 163 one-bedroom units and 87 two-bedrooms – along with office space, a restaurant and a coffee shop and hotel.
A portion of Hild's portfolio in the Manchester area of Richmond will be auctioned on December 17.
