The Blue Ridge Apartment Council (BRAC) hosted an Affordable Housing Panel on Wednesday, May 6th, at Eagle’s Landing Clubhouse. Panel participants included housing representatives from the City of Charlottesville, County of Albemarle, Charlottesville Redevelopment & Housing Authority, Thomas Jefferson Area Coalition for the Homeless, and Haven Housing. BRAC Members and the panelists discussed the issues and challenges of Affordable Housing in the Greater Charlottesville Area and several ways that private and public organizations can work together to address their mutual concerns. This panel is just another way that the BRAC chapter is building stronger relationships with local municipalities to improve housing in the central Virginia marketplace.
