Awards Judging Process

·         Community of the Year

Community of the Year Awards will be judged the 3rd week of September. CVAA will have out of town judges volunteer to visit nominated communities through out the designated judge days. Judge sheets are reviewed with the judges and will be provided to all nominated communities in advance. 

 

·         Community & Individual Awards

Community Awards are judged in various ways. Landscaping, Maintenance Shop and Clubhouse will be judged the same days as the Community of the Year nominees. Judge sheets are reviewed with the judges and will be provided to all nominated communities in advance. 

 

Community Team of the Year will be judged in September, October or November, (Exact date TBD) and will be done by community team interviews with Judges. 

 

Social Media will be judged based off the information submitted for review. A panel of judges will select the winners of these categories. 

 

Resident Satisfaction is judged by survey results of a Resident Satisfaction Survey that will be conducted to your residents thanks to our sponsor SatisFacts.

**NEW** Pet Amenities will be judged based off the information submitted.  Judges will look at the following.....Originality- what sets it apart? Variety- what does it include? List activities this amenity gives to pets. Functionality- how inclusive is this? Is it easy to use/understand? Nominee can explain & demonstrate.  Benefits- what is the level of interaction this provides? Health benefits to pets (ie. Pet fountain provides hydration..)? Overall impact on community's quality of living? Curb appeal- cleanliness of area, steps in place to maintain amenity, safety rules posted, etc. New award discount – Only $39 to submit!

                       

Individual Awards are judged by questionnaires and an interview process. Once nominated each nominee will receive via email a nomination package. Included within this package will be a short questionnaire for each nominee to complete for their nomination to be considered. This questionnaire represents the first phase of judging and will be scored in conjunction with the individual interview. In the event more than 8 individuals are nominated for any one category, results from scoring of the questionnaire will be used to narrow down the field to 8 finalist. Interviews will take place in October, November, December. The final score for all finalist will be calculated by combining the score of the questionnaire with the score from the in person interview. Leasing of the Year award is judged by a secret shop and will not be required to fill out a questionnaire or interview. Mystery shoppers, provided by a professional company will shop each leasing professional. Nominees will be scored based upon their mystery shop.

 

Award Program

The RAMMY Awards will be on Friday, January 24, 2015. All of the nominees and winners will be recognized at this event. Winners will receive a plaque. There is a fee to attend this event and that cost is TBD.
