The most important date for parents of rising kindergarteners - children who are 5 years old by September 30 - is right around the corner. Kindergarten registration is Thursday, April 10, 2014 at your child’s school. This common date for registration covers fifteen school districts in the Richmond region – from King William to Powhatan and everywhere in between.
There are benefits to you, your child and the school when you register on time. Your school can give you information about events and activities you might otherwise miss; your child’s teacher can prepare for your child; and your child’s school can prepare for space, staff and materials.
