Complete MCS Courses from the Comfort of "Home"

VECAT is excited to offer a third option in 2019 for completing MCS Certification courses.  In addition to classroom and online opportunities, VECAT is now offering the ability for students to complete their required certification training in a group setting at their home office.  Facilitator guides and instruction sheets have been created to help a company-designated facilitator or subject matter expert to run training for a group of employees so that everyone completes their training at the same time.  Some benefits of this training option include:

• No need to travel to a classroom training location, thus reducing the amount of time an employee is away from the office
• Ability to train a group at the same time, including employees who can benefit from the content but perhaps don’t need to be certified
• Training can be completed at a time that is convenient for company business, i.e., a rain or snow day
• Course videos can be stopped at any time to ensure complete understanding of topics and to help employees who are struggling with a content area
• Complete all training promptly (at a pace that is appropriate for the group or company project schedule)

If you are interested in scheduling off-site training or want to get more information on how this option works, contact Judith Calvert at Germanna: (540) 937-6757 or jcalvert@germanna.edu.
