!!ATTENTION!!
Change to Plant I & II class locations:
The March 20-22 Plant I & II classes at VTTI will be MOVED to the Culpeper and Fredericksburg locations.

*REMINDER*
As of January 2018, all MCS certifications must be renewed every five years. There is no longer a re-certification process. If you have a certification coming due this year, you must sign up to complete either the classroom class or the online class BEFORE Dec.15, 2018. This deadline includes all proficiency testing required for that course.  Prerequisite classes for a given course do NOT need to be completed if your certification for that prereq class is still active.

*2018 COLD RECYCLING CLASSES*
The 2018 Full Depth Reclamation (FDR), and Cold Asphalt Recycling – Plant and Field classes have been scheduled for May 15 to 17. Classes are tentatively scheduled to be held at Germanna’s FredCAT facility; however, this is subject to change if a site visit can be arranged as part of the classes. If you have questions about these or other classes, please contact Judith Calvert at Germanna at (540) 937-6757, or Carter Iseman at VAA at (804) 288-3169.

*PROFICIENCY TESTING REGISTRATION IS OPEN*
Proficiency testing for Plant I, Plant II and Mix Design classes is now open for registration on the Germanna website. Once you have registered for the desired class/test, Germanna will contact you to set up a date, time and location. Testing for Plant I will be done virtually, while Testing for Plant II and Mix Design will be held at the FredCAT and VTTI facilities. Cost for testing is as follows:

Plant I:$175.00
Plant II:$350.00
Mix Design:$650.00

*GOT APPRENTICES?*
If you have employees who you think show promise for future upward mobility and would like to get information on the VECAT Apprenticeship program, contact Carter Iseman at ciseman@vaasphalt.com to find out how to get the program into your company. If you don’t have any employees in mind but are still interested in the program, or would like VECAT to help you find qualified candidates to interview, we can help you do that too.
