*2018 MCS CLASS SCHEDULE*
Happy New Year! The 2018 MCS class year is here!!  Please don’t wait to sign up if you or any of your employees want to be in a classroom course, as registration will be closed a few days in advance of the course date to prepare materials for class. Online classes are also open for registration on Germanna’s website. These courses can be completed at any time during the year.

**Remember that as of January 2018, all MCS certifications must be renewed every 5 years. There is no longer a recertification process. If you have a certification coming due this year, you must sign up to complete either the classroom class or the online class BEFORE December 15, 2018. This deadline includes all proficiency testing required for that course. Pre-requisite classes for a given course do NOT need to be completed if your certification for that pre-req class is still active.

Dates for 2018 MCS Certification classes are as follows:

**Please note that if a class or class location you are looking for does not appear on GCC’s website, that class may already be full or may have been consolidated with another location due to low registration for that particular site.

***Full Depth Reclamation (FDR), Cold Asphalt Recycling – Field, and Cold Asphalt Recycling – Plant will also be offered again in 2018.  Those courses will be added to the VECAT calendar once dates and class locations have been determined.
If you have questions about these or other courses, please contact Cartha Branham at Germanna at (540) 891-3070, or Carter Iseman at VAA at (804) 288-3169.

If you have employees who you think show promise for future upward mobility and would like to get information on the VECAT Apprenticeship program, contact Carter Iseman at ciseman@vaasphalt.com to find out how to get the program into your company. If you don’t have any employees in mind but are still interested in the program or would like VECAT to help you find qualified candidates to interview, we can help you do that too.
