ICAW Poster & Bookmark Contests are on!

International Compost Awareness Week (ICAW) is the largest and most comprehensive education initiative in the compost industry, celebrated across more than 40 countries. Each year, thousands of people take part by hosting events, sharing resources, and spreading the word about the benefits of compost. One of the highlights of ICAW is the annual poster and bookmark contests, where creativity meets compost education.

The ICAW theme for 2026 is “Compost! Feed the Soil that Feeds Us,” chosen to align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal “Life on Land.”

We are excited to announce that submissions are now open for the 2026 ICAW poster and bookmark contests. This is your chance to share your artistic talent while promoting the importance of composting and healthy soil. Artists of all ages are encouraged to participate, with contest categories for students and adults. Winning designs will be used in educational materials around the world and help inspire communities to compost.

For full contest rules, design templates, and submission details, visit the ICAW poster contest page at www.compostfoundation.org/ICAW-Poster.

Be part of the movement, share your creativity, and help us celebrate ICAW 2026. Submissions close November 14.
