December Young Professional of the Month: Sky Pisarski

We are thrilled to highlight Sky Pisarski as December’s YP of the Month! Sky is currently a student at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Sky is currently a junior studying Soil and Waste Resources at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. While at college, Sky helps to process her campus’ food waste through serving as the Vice President of University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point’s Waste Management Society.
In 2025, Sky attended and volunteered at COMPOST2025. While at the conference, Sky’s two favorite parts were the networking opportunities that were provided and the Emerging Composter Challenge. After leaving the conference, Sky joined the YP Emerging Composter Challenge Committee to be a part of the planning challenge and to stay involved with the USCC YP Group.
Congratulations to Sky for her contributions to the composting industry and for her dedication as part of the YP Emerging Composter Challenge Committee.
