The Association of Compost Producers (ACP), the California affiliate chapter of the USCC, represented the composting industry at the annual California Resource Recovery Association (CRRA) Conference. The CRRA is California’s statewide recycling association. Their annual Conference gathers over 800 professionals from across materials recycling industries, including plastics, e-waste, organics, and more.

The ACP organized a walking tour of Montery Parks, which included a compost application demonstration. Participants were given a firsthand look at cutting-edge machinery and best practices for applying compost in the field using compost blowers, trucks, and more. Back indoors, ACP Executive Director Katya Forsyth moderated a panel on the future of community composting. We want to thank the ACP for representing the composting industry in front of a broad coalition of recyclers!
