MILESTONE: Compost Operations Trainers Now Teaching the Next 1,000 Students!

Print this Article | Send to Colleague

It was very exciting this fall when we realized at the Composting Council Research and Education Foundation (CCREF) that we had passed our 1,000th Compost Operations Training Course (COTC) student. It’s amazing to realize how many participants from across the country (46 states) and from around the world (21 countries) have invested the time and money to expand their skills and knowledge on running the best compost manufacturing facility they can.

We appreciate all our students, and we’d love to hear from past students on what attending a COTC has meant to them. Send us a quick email at info@compostfoundation.org and share with us what you got out of your COTC experience.

If you’d like to see the diversity of students who have taken COTCs since the first class at Davis, CA, in 2010, go to Cary’s Compost Teams Gallery.

On to No. 2,000!
