PHCC-TX is seeking Instructors to teach Plumbing Continuing Education.

HB 636 was signed by Governor Abbott on May 26, 2021. Thank you to everyone who came together, worked hard, and reached out to their elected officials on this important bill. We remain grateful to Representative Senfronia Thompson, Senator John Whitmire, and all of the other representatives and senators who helped move this through.

At the outset of the pandemic in March 2020, the TSBPE took aggressive measures to temporarily suspend the yearly Continuing Education course required by Texas State law. As part of that program, many licensed plumbers were granted a Disaster Relief CE extension. TSBPE has designated July 31, 2021 as the cutoff for fulfilling the 2020 or 2021 CE requirement.

More and more people are getting vaccinated, and more places are opening up – is this the light at the end of the tunnel? Organizations everywhere are trying to balance the risks of the pandemic with the perceived ability to return to “normal.”
