HR Question of the Month: Use and Reverify I-9 for Rehire?
  
The original date of a signed I-9 Form was in September, 2014. Our employee then left employment in October, 2018, but was rehired a month later in November. I understand a new I-9 Form needs to be completed for Section 3. Am I required to keep the original I-9 Form and attach a new Section 3 to the front? The documentation verification has not expired from the original I-9 Form so I do not think I need to re-verify documentation.

PHCC Academy – Online HVAC Apprenticeship
  
The PHCC Educational Foundation offers online HVACR apprentice courses for apprentices who need a non-classroom based method of receiving their apprenticeship instruction. This program is recognized by the U.S. Department of Labor, Employment & Training Administration, and Office of Apprenticeship, as a reasonable option for apprentice training. Each course is the equivalent of one year of classroom instruction.

TSBPE Quarterly Board Meeting / License Holder Forum Summary
  
The Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE) held their quarterly board meeting on July 15, 2019. Anticipating a larger than normal crowd, they moved the meeting to the John H. Reagan building located on the Texas State Capitol grounds. Not as many as expected showed up, but those that did listened attentively, with several registering to speak during the public comment period at the opening.
