We are excited to share that Mark Campise, recently promoted Fire Chief of the Sugar Land Fire Department, has also been selected to serve as the Southeast Regional Director for the Texas Fire Chiefs Association (TFCA).
Chief Campise was appointed by the Board of Directors to continue in the position that had been occupied by Chief Jennifer Maxwell. This new appointment is a reflection of Chief Campise’s deep commitment to the fire service and his passion for supporting leaders across the state. As Southeast Regional Director, he will represent departments of all sizes and structures across the region—ensuring every voice is heard and supported. He’ll serve as a vital link between the TFCA Board of Directors and the departments in the southeast area, helping share information, advocate for regional needs, and foster strong connections throughout the fire service community.
In this position, Chief Campise will be available to provide guidance and support on TFCA matters and will help organize regional meetings each year to encourage collaboration and idea-sharing among departments. He’ll also take part in TFCA events such as the Annual Conference, Fire Chiefs Academy graduations, and other special ceremonies whenever possible.
This appointment reflects not only his leadership within Sugar Land but also the respect and confidence he’s earned across the state. Please join us in congratulating Chief Mark Campise on this well-deserved honor. His dedication, insight, and vision continue to move the fire service forward—locally and regionally.
