With your contribution, you will be doing your part to help protect your business and the 3PL industry from frivolous lawsuits, repeal of the tax reform, labor concerns, and many other issues that directly affect your bottom line.
TIA’s efforts on Capitol Hill are not possible without our bi-partisan Political Action Committee. The TIAPAC enables TIA staff and TIA members to formulate key relationships with members of Congress and their staff. It takes a lot of time, energy and capital to build those relationships and your contribution to the TIAPAC helps accomplish that.
TIA staff have already starting meeting with members of Congress to implement a strategy for the National Motor Carrier Selection Standard. This Standard will remain a top issue for TIA, and we will have another opportunity when Congress begins work on reauthorizing the FAST Act (Highway Bill) in the 116th Congress. It doesn’t matter which party controls the House and Senate, TIA remains steadfast in support of improving our nation’s highways and roads and removing the confusion that currently exists in selecting a motor carrier.
