TIA Creates Business Alliance with TranStrategy Partners

TIA announced yesterday that they have joined with TranStrategy Partners in a business alliance to provide a more robust education and services suite for TIA and its membership. With this new partnership, members will have access to additional business acceleration tools for growth, margin maximization and organizational development. Regardless of size, through TIA Education, TIA BrokerTrain and TIA Consulting Services, this alliance is designed to achieve maximum success for its members.

“We are excited to announce the partnership,” said Robert Voltmann, TIA President and CEO. “By combining our resources we will be able to greatly expand how we help our membership.”

Among the new offerings will be Employee and Agent programs, including a New Hire Assessment package, New Employee Success package, New Agent Assessment package and a New Agent Success package.

Heading this initiative will be new additions to the TIA staff: Andrew Gulovsen, former Director of Business Development for TranStrategy Partners will serve as TIA’s new Director of Sales, and Wade Witherspoon, former Director of Education for TranStrategy Partners takes on the role of TIA’s new Director of Training and Consulting Services. With their expertise and knowledge of the TSP programs, they will bring maximum value to the Association.

In addition, Joel McGinley will continue his role as Managing Partner at TranStrategy. Founded in 2003 and based in Portland, OR. TranStrategy has worked with more than 400 transportation organizations and thousands of industry professionals in development and execution of their personal and business success through programs such as executive coaching, training and strategic planning.

The programs offered will focus on skills development for logistic industry professionals, leadership development, mentoring, benchmarking and data resources, assessment tools for hiring and training along with executive coaching and strategy resources.
