Transportation, Logistics and the Law for 3PLs Seminar: Register Today

TIA Minnesota Seminar Report – Part VI
Presented by Brent Wm. Primus, J.D.

In the last few issues of Logistics Weekly we looked at some of the topics that will be covered at this year’s Minnesota seminar being held August 2 and 3. Other topics to be covered include CARB (California Air Resource Board) compliance… and how to avoid to avoid HUGE fines; how to eliminate the risk of late payment penalties; and how to minimize the exposure of having to pay freight charges twice for the same shipment.

As we wrote in the first installment of this series of articles, while the seminar will provide an overview of the basic legal principles, laws, and regulations governing transportation, the ultimate goal of the seminar is to show you how to use this knowledge in your day-to-day activities.

Here is what some of last year’s attendees had to say:

“Excellent seminar and well worth the money.”
“Well received. I loved the detail and excerpts of the slides.”
-- V.P. Sales, Broker

“Seminar will have immediate impact on how we approach carriers & clients moving forward.”
-- Director of Logistics, Broker

“The seminar has been extremely helpful and has provided clarification on a lot of areas that I did not have too much knowledge on.”
-- Contract Administration Manager, Broker

“Good information to refresh areas of importance that need to be monitored. Sometimes difficult to keep up with all the day to day activities.”
-- Logistics Manager, Major Shipper

We certainly hope to see you in Minnesota. In addition to the course itself, the weather will be great and Minnesota is a great place to visit with lots of things to do if you want to make a long weekend of your trip… Mall of America, beautiful lakes and parks, live theater, and much more.
