American Shipper Launches TMS Benchmark Survey

The Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) is proud to partner with American Shipper to participate as a research partner on three benchmarking surveys that American Shipper will be conducting. The three surveys will cover Transportation Management Benchmarks, Risk Management, and Emerging Supply-Chain Technology. This is an important partnership as TIA continues to build our brand amongst the shipper communities and ultimately strive towards our main goal of having TIA members being the only choice for shipper customers to be their 3PL providers.
The first survey being conducted by American Shipper is the Transportation Management Benchmark Survey. This survey will examine the international freight community’s bellwether examination of how shippers and 3PLs use technology to manage their global transportation networks. This survey and the subsequent report will focus on a range of core questions around the benefits and roadblocks to TMS adoption, and each year new data is incorporated around emerging concepts in the ever-more important TMS market.
