Erin Boren
Mine Operations Manager, Vistra - Luminant - Three Oaks Mine

Erin is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri Science and Technical University), beginning work full-time with Luminant as an
engineer in 2002. Erin has served in multiple capacities in those 18-plus years, advancing quickly through several career steps such as engineer, operations supervisor, operations scheduler, engineering manager, railroad manager, mine operations manager and mine manager. In her tenure she has worked at the Monticello, Martin Lake, and Three Oaks locations, as well as in a corporate support role with responsibilities across multiple locations.


Erin’s advancement has been a result of diligence and hard work, and a special ability to understand the locations, personalities, and culture of the departments and locations she has worked at. Her ability to relate to all work groups, develop their trust, and provide excellent leadership has made her a well-respected leader within Luminant, including both with management and with craft personnel. In addition to being a very sound and decisive decision-maker, she is always willing to go the extra mile and do whatever it takes to help people, exemplifying the term “servant leader.”
