Chairman's Message by Josh Holland, URI, Inc.: New Year Transition

New Year Transition

An abundance of thanks to all in the TMRA family! I’m amazed year after year how all the moving parts of the Association produce such an excellent value product to TMRA members. The phrase “you get out of it what you put into it” definitely holds true in the case of TMRA. Because of all the input and participation from our TMRA Owner/Operators, Support Members, and Leadership/Support Team, 2018 has been a great year. Some of the highlights are the success of the excellent Teacher’s Workshops, new members, and a highly successful Annual Meeting and Auction.

Transitioning to the new year is exciting and I’m looking forward to beholding all the moving parts of TMRA at work as a Team once again. In particular, with it being a Legislative Session year, I’m looking forward to the excitement that brings and have confidence in the Governmental Affairs Committee as they track bills and work towards the Sine Die event. It’s also exciting that the next year’s Annual Meeting will be held at a new venue, the Galvez Hotel in Galveston. It’ll be the same great event with a change in scenery.

A special thanks to Ches, Krissy, Francye, Cathy, Christian and Tami for all the leadership and support you provide TMRA. You all are the core that keeps TMRA on track and all the moving parts working together in a meaningful way. It truly is a pleasure being on a Team together with you!

Joshua Holland,
TMRA Chairman
