2020 – Exercise Your Right to Vote

On a regular basis, we Americans are given the opportunity to exercise an awesome responsibility – the responsibility to voice our opinions through the process of voting. This unique responsibility allows us a voice in matters on a national, state and local level and races that affect our neighborhood. Voters determine who will lead our country and how local policies are determined.

Each of us has the power to decide issues that will impact generations to come. In November, the people of the United States will elect the individuals that will lead our nation for four years. We will choose the makeup of the US Congress and determine the direction of our state. We will decide the makeup of county and city councils, school boards and local administrative offices. During our TMRA annual meeting, we will select the leadership of our association for another year.

Elections are decided by the people who get out and vote and those that learn about the candidates and the issues. If you don’t exercise your right to vote, someone else will make decisions that affect you. Individually, we may not always agree but we can and should always be civil if we disagree. Take your opportunity to stand up for the issues you care about and help decide what you feel is best for all.

Your vote and voice counts!

Jeff Mason
TMRA Chairman
