Membership and Recruitment Update

Since taking on the role of Chair for the Membership Committee, we have been busy updating our marketing and recruitment materials and New Member Packet. We were fortunate to assemble a great team to assist in making improvements to these documents. I would like to thank the following people for their contributions: Jeannine Wheeler, Christian Goff, Francye Hutchins, Krissy Lilljedahl, Johnny Rainey and of course, Ches Blevins, for his leadership.

The new recruitment flyer can be distributed to virtually anyone associated with, or has an interest in, the mining industry. It begins with an introduction from Ches explaining the impact of mining in Texas and the importance of being a part of this organization, general Information about TMRA and its mission, the levels of membership, and ways that a new member can get connected and participate in the association.

After joining the Association, all new TMRA members will receive a packet that opens with a welcome letter from Ches which includes important information about mining, and the challenges that face our industry. The packet also includes upcoming events, committees and areas for participation and a detailed outline of the Teacher’s Workshops.
