Are you on top of your game when it comes to healthcare facility code expertise? This e-learning course, disguised as an arcade game, will show you how to level up!  In this free game for ASHE members, unlock all the code rooms by successfully answering compliance code questions. Each room covers a different set of codes, but to be in compliance you must unlock all 13 rooms!  Unlock all the rooms and be eligible to receive 1.5 CECs.

Other games include Whack-a-MEP, Treasure Hunt Energy Management, To the Rescue Fire Protection and Infection Prevention Parachutes.

How has TAHFM/ASHE contributed to your career?
ASHE and TAFHM are a must for facilities management. There are resources available for any situation you may encounter on a daily basis. ASHE was instrumental in preparing me for my CHFM. The amount of knowledge and support that is gained by networking with peers in our field is priceless.

What is your background in the healthcare facilities field?
I have been in healthcare for over 13 years, starting as a maintenance tech in a small hospital in Cleveland, TX for three years. I have spent the last 10 plus years at St Lukes Lakeside Hospital where my passion for my job developed into who I am today. Through training and mentorship, I have worked my way up to Facilities Manager and obtaining my CHFM.

Tell us a Personal Tidbit.
I have been married for 28 years and have three kids. I enjoy vacationing with my wife or hanging out and tailgating with family and friends. I love college football, as well as fishing and hunting.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
The people are what I enjoy most about my job—the people I work with directly, the people we support, and the people in our community that we serve on a daily basis.

What are your plans for future growth?
With the vast number of certifications and degrees available for our profession, it's hard for me to say what's next. I do know that I plan to stay in healthcare and continue to serve our community.
